General data protection regulations

Processing of contact data

When we enter into business relationships with suppliers, customers and partners, we process, analyse and store the personal data of their employees and assistants in order to create and process contracts, for planning, accounting and other purposes relating to the contract. Depending on the field of activity, we are also required to audit the company and its employees, for example by vetting. In this case, we collect and process additional data, if necessary from third-party suppliers. We may also process this data to improve our customer orientation, customer satisfaction or customer relations (customer/supplier relationship management).

Only personal data voluntarily provided by you is collected. VOLKSWIND uses them to respond to your requests concerning certain services, as well as to optimize the operation and efficiency of the Site. We undertake not to sell or communicate to third parties the addresses of our Internet users without their prior agreement. The data collected is not transferred outside the European Union.

This data includes your IP address, or that of your Internet service provider, the home page (the website from which you accessed our website), browser type, operating system and platform, the pages viewed at www.volkswind.fr, and the time and date of access (known as “connection data”). Cookies

This site also uses cookies to track site usage. Cookies are small data files left by a web portal on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit the site. By using cookies, the website can “remember” certain entries and settings (e.g. login, language, font size and other preferences) over a period of time. You do not need to re-enter these settings to return to the site or browse the portal. We use cookies on our website to analyse site usage. On our website, we use cookies to record your participation in a survey on the usefulness of content (so that the pop-up window no longer asks for you), or your decision to use (or not to use) cookies on this portal. Some of the videos integrated into our web pages also use cookies to generate anonymous statistics on the pages previously visited and the videos selected.

The information collected using cookies is not used to identify you, and cookies are only used for the purposes described in this privacy policy. It is not absolutely necessary to accept cookies in order to use the website, but it does make browsing the Internet easier. You can block or delete cookies in your web browser. You can find out how to do this at: aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies from your computer and configure most browsers so that they do not accept cookies. However, you may then have to manually adjust certain settings each time you access a particular web page, which may result in a degradation of certain functions.

Data protection in the recruitment and application process

The persons in charge of processing – generally the company that has advertised the position and/or receives the applications – process the candidates’ personal data in order to carry out the recruitment process. Processing may also take place electronically. This is particularly the case when a candidate provides the respective application documents electronically, for example by e-mail to the person responsible. We process the personal data provided by you in the application in order to carry out the relevant recruitment procedure insofar as this is necessary to review your application in relation to the vacancy, and in the event of successful recruitment to prepare for the Contract job.
