Seit drei Jahrzehnten entwickelt, baut und betreibt das Unternehmen Windparks in ganz Europa und setzt sich erfolgreich f\u00fcr die Energiewende ein. <br\/><br\/>Gegr\u00fcndet wurde Volkswind im Juni 1993 von Martin Daubner, Matthias und Katja Stommel und geh\u00f6rt damit zu den Pionieren im Bereich der erneuerbaren Energien. Was 1993 als 3-Personen-Betrieb begann, hat sich inzwischen zu einem f\u00fchrenden Windparkentwickler in Europa gewandelt. Heute produzieren \u00fcber 500 Windkraft-Anlagen in 80 Windparks mit einer Gesamtkapazit\u00e4t von 1.500 Megawatt sauberen Strom f\u00fcr rund 800.000 Vier-Personen-Haushalte. <br\/><br\/>\u201eDer Unfall im Kernkraftwerk Tschernobyl hat uns damals gezeigt, wie gef\u00e4hrlich Atomkraft ist. Es ging nicht um Marktanteile oder darum, sich eine goldene Nase zu verdienen. Wir wollten mit dem Bau unserer ersten Windkraftanlage einfach neue Wege in der Energieversorgung aufzeigen\u201c, berichtet Katja Stommel, Volkswind CEO. \u201eDaf\u00fcr wurden wir damals als \u00d6kospinner bel\u00e4chtet. Dass wir so erfolgreich werden w\u00fcrden, damit h\u00e4tten wir nicht gerechnet.\u201c <br\/><br\/>Zu den wichtigen Meilensteinen z\u00e4hlt die \u00dcbernahme des Unternehmens im Jahr 2015 durch das Schweizer Energieunternehmen Axpo. Inzwischen werden die internationalen Wind-Aktivit\u00e4ten des Schweizer Gro\u00dfkonzerns von Ganderkesee aus vorangetrieben. Heute ist Volkswind in Deutschland und Frankreich mit eigenen Niederlassungen vertreten. Im franz\u00f6sischen Markt ist Volkswind Marktf\u00fchrer. 2022 er\u00f6ffnete das Unternehmen zusammen mit Axpo zwei neue Standorte in Finnland und Rum\u00e4nien. <br\/><br\/>Auch f\u00fcr die Zukunft stehen die Zeichen auf Wachstum: Nach Finnland und Rum\u00e4nien ist der Markteintritt in weitere L\u00e4nder geplant. Bis 2030 m\u00f6chte Volkswind die Windenergie weiter massiv ausbauen. Firmengr\u00fcnderin Katja Stommel sieht dabei das Unternehmen gut ger\u00fcstet f\u00fcr die Zukunft. \u201eEntscheidend f\u00fcr den Erfolg von Volkswind war immer unser Pioniergeist. Dieser ist uns bis heute erhalten geblieben. Insbesondere in der Windindustrie muss man sich schnell an wechselnde Rahmenbedingungen anpassen und wandelbar sein. Wir haben immer noch Spa\u00df an der Herausforderung und das zeichnet uns aus.\u201c <br\/><br\/><br\/><br\/><br\/><br\/>               <\/p>\n\n<p>\u00dcber Volkswind<br\/><br\/>Volkswind mit Hauptsitz in Ganderkesee bei Bremen und Tochtergesellschaften in Frankreich, Finnland und Rum\u00e4nien ist Spezialist im Bereich der Windenergie. Das Unternehmen plant, errichtet und betreibt Windparks in ganz Europa. Gegr\u00fcndet wurde Volkswind 1993 und z\u00e4hlt damit zu den Pionieren im Bereich der Erneuerbaren Energien. Inzwischen zeichnet Volkswind verantwortlich f\u00fcr die Errichtung von 80 Windparks mit einer Gesamtleistung von rund 1.500 MW.
